She keeps our team organized, our sales streamlined, and our clients feeling like the queens they are!

Maria has a knack for reading the room, reading the bride, and reading between the lines. She’ll keep it real with you (yes, that dress is the one for you), and she never misses a detail. Whether you’re second-guessing your dress, or drowning in decision fatigue, Maria’s there with real talk, real support, and just the right amount of sparkle to keep you feeling like the bride of the year. She’s got that magical mix of boss-level leadership, and bestie energy that makes our clients trust her instantly. Maria makes us feel like we can survive the busiest season with one less meltdown.

What is your role at Something Blue?

I am the bridal hype woman here at Something Blue. I do a little bit of everything besides sewing! I help brides find their wedding gowns, along with mothers. I can measure and order tuxes. I do a lot of the scheduling and office work as well. I'm also a spray tan artist.

How long have you worked at Something Blue?

I have worked here for just shy of two years! I started part time as a fun job and then made it into my full time job!

What's your favorite part about working at Something Blue?

I really love getting to make brides feel special in their own bodies! Helping them find the best color, fit, and designs for their bodies that makes them feel like a million bucks.

What's your go-to dress style if you were picking one for yourself?

I love a simple satin fit and flare with the smallest embellishments! Paired with a tiered veil with pearls!

If you could dress any celebrity for their wedding who would it be? And why?

I would definitely have to choose Lainey Wilson, or Dolly Parton! They are both icon's in the country world, and I would love to explore their style in the wedding industry!

What is the first song you'd play if you were the DJ at a wedding?

Mama He's Crazy by Lainey Wilson and Dolly Parton, and also Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue by Toby Keith.

What are some of your favorite things to do in your free time?

I love to shop at T.J.Maxx and Homegoods. I love to cook for my love one's. I love to binge watch reality tv shows, and I love to get my nails done!

What's a show you are binge watching right now?

I just finished watching the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. I am currently watching Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. I am also re-watching Pretty Little Liars.

I swear I don't just watch television in my free time, I just always have something playing when I'm getting ready, cleaning, cooking, and eating!
