With over a decade of experience, Eleanor is the reason our brides can breathe easy knowing their dress fits like it was made just for them—because well… now it is. From bustling layers of tulle to fine-tuning a mother-of-the-bride gown, she handles every stitch with precision, heart, and just the right amount of sass.

What is your role at Something Blue?

I am the seamstress and the tuxpert (tux expert)!

How long have you worked at Something Blue?

8 1/2 years!

What's your favorite part about working at Something Blue?

Everyday is different! I'm never bored for too long!

I enjoy helping people pick out the tux they want to wear for their event. I also love working on people's beautiful gowns for their special events, and educating them on garment construction and sewing.

What’s your go-to style for wedding dresses?

I'm really into the vintage inspired gowns, and anything with pretty details. Give me the lace, the beads, the buttons. I want all the little details that make a dress feel like it has a story.

If you could style any celebrity for their wedding who would it be?

I would choose either Lady Gaga or Chappell Roan. They both have such unique, and artistic styles—it’d be an absolute blast to style them! Nothing about their looks is basic, and I’m always down for that kind of fashion adventure.

What’s the first song you’d play if you were the DJ at a wedding?

I can't decide, so I'll give you 5!

What are some of your favorite things to do in your free time? 

When I'm not working I love to spend time with my husband, and our 2 cats. I also love to play pickleball, and I love to go thrifting.

I have been watching Outlander and Secret Lives of Mormon Wives! Two AMAZING shows!!
